Success with the Franchise.  

The repetitive nature of our work ensures that we have a growing workload ahead with most clients on 12 monthly retesting and some on 6 monthly as well.  
It is this repeating work load that is the key to building and expanding the clientele base as none of our work is of a 'one-off' nature.  
In the last 12 months a number of local and nation wide businesses engaged our services and this is good for all technicians in all regions.   
The client base has continued to grow and am I not aware that we have lost a single customer.

The backup support provided by Bruce and Emily in the main office is superb.  
They are always on hand to answer questions, arrange the work, send out stock and attend to the many small but important issues that crop up from time to time.  
This main office support and back up is essential to the success of any nation wide business and I cannot speak too highly of Bruce and Emily's commitment to the clients and to their staff out in the field.

Type of  Work
Appliance testing requires us to visit our clients and carry out the work on their premises.  
Our work is straight forward, clean, light technician's type duties that is mostly indoors and is a pleasure to carry out.  
The premises we work in are clean and tidy with solid safety practices in place and staff that are invariably helpful and respectful of us and our service.  
There is always a tidy lunch room for tea and coffee and clean toilet facilities available.

We are not involved with new construction work so we are not outdoors in muddy or dusty environments, there is no heavy lifting nor are we in roof spaces or under floors.
As technicians we only require a brief case with our testing equipment neatly packed inside, a cell phone and a home computer with printer/scanner.  
Other than a small car we have very little overheads and only require a few labels on hand as our stock.
All in all this is an ideal business to be in.



Since starting with Appliance Testing 3760 Ltd in July 2009, I have found the Business Model enjoyable.
You are your own-boss and are touching-base with different people and different locations every work week.
Appliance Testing 3760 Ltd systems are efficient, with good Head-Office back-up and support.
I have found the Head-Office is always professional and pleasant to deal with.
The “Test & Tag” model is a credible service to sell, but you do have to be prepared to undertake cold-calling
Of potential clients.
